2017 came with many challenges and uncertainty for many members in our community. UNIDOS' 21st anniversary, "Embracing Cultures: Building Communities” is a call to action, activism and support. This event is our major fundraiser of the year which helps us to continue providing life-saving services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
Today more than ever we need you to join us in helping UNIDOS challenge the social norms that allow violence to continue to exist in the world and support the most marginalized in our communities. We invite you to join advocates across Wisconsin to touch hundreds of lives in this time of fear, oppression and discrimination. Our collective voice is important to ensure that the needs of the most vulnerable of survivors - survivors of color, immigrants, refugees, LGBTQ, Native American, and survivors with disabilities are care for with dignity and respect.
You can join our effort by purchasing a ticket or by becoming a sponsor at this year's event. This year UNIDOS needs strong allies like you to continue providing much needed services to hundreds of families. We thank you again for your past support and for your consideration to sponsor UNIDOS 21st Anniversary. A board member will be following up with you in the near future. We hope to count on your attendance. I know we can count on you; together we can change the lives of hundreds of survivors in Dane County.
